There are three bookstores on or near campus used by Penn faculty to order course books:
Penn Bookstore
The official bookstore of the University of Pennsylvania; run by Barnes and Noble.
House of Our Own
Independent academic bookstore specializing in Cultural Studies, History, literary criticism, Politics, Radicalism, and Social Sciences.  Features new and used books.
Penn Book Center

Reserve Readings
Van Pelt Library will help you make standard (hard copy) and electronic reserve materials available to your students. Standard reserves are placed in the Rosengarten Reserve Room in the basement of Van Pelt Library.

Electronic reserves will be uploaded to your courses’ Blackboard site. You can also provide links to licensed information and data bases, e-journals, and library image collections. You must establish a Blackboard site for your course first. Blackboard is a user-friendly tool for creating and managing course web sites. More information on Blackboard, including how to request a Blackboard site for your course can be found under "Teaching Your Course."
Course Scheduling
Penn courses are scheduled within a system of time blocks, which can be found at this link. Questions about when your classes are scheduled should be directed to your Department Chair.
