Working with Penn Students: Know Your Audience
Bryan Cameron, CTL Graduate Fellow, Hispanic Studies
Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1:30-3
Graduate Student Center 305
In this workshop we will develop strategies for successfully managing your relationships with Penn students by exploring issues such as grading, classroom dynamics and interpersonal problems. In addition to considering the challenges posed both by students who care too much and those who care too little, we will examine the benefits of working with Penn students and discuss a number of pedagogical approaches in order to ensure that the interaction between TA and student is as mutually edifying as possible.
